Job description

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect who will design technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems; manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale; articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for technical architecture.



Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Functional team to determine how best to implement solution (decisions around declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange, etc.).

  • Serve as the technical authority on the Salesforce platform, security, integration, data migration, and other solution components.

  • Lead a team of Salesforce Technical Resources focused on driving optimized solutions leveraging Service Cloud, Field Service Lightening, Revenue Cloud, Community Cloud, Sales cloud, and other offerings of Salesforce.

  • Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights.

  • Possess an aptitude to be hands on at code level and the ability to abstract details to create meaningful articulation depending on the audience.

  • Engage in deep technical discussion, bring in thought leadership to various situations and help architect solutions for the enterprise needs.

  • Participate as a strong proactive driver and collaborator with a willingness to work with and mentor geographically distributed teams.

  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.

  • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices, performance improvements etc.

  • Prepare architecture documents and maintain knowledge of overall architecture structure.

  • Set technology standards and guidelines to enable the fast deployment of the packages across environments.

  • Maintaining the relationship with the vendors.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and developing and executing data migrations.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.

  • Expertise on creating Apex classes, Apex triggers, Visualforce pages, Dataloader, Jitterbit, Workflow, Controllers, SOSL and SOQL.

  • Experience in creating the relationships/junction objects like master-child, lookups, entity relationship data model, pages, classes, interfaces, Flows, workflows & workflow rules, triggers, email alerts and business logic.

  • Are familiar with multiple implementation standards and Agile methodologies.

  • Salesforce certifications (Architect, Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer 2, Field Service Cloud consultant) highly preferred

  • Experience with a fully automated CI/CD pipeline and branching strategies

  • Experience of implementing Call Center and Field Service solutions using Service & FSL package is plus.

  • Experience of integrating to ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce, JDE, MS Dynamics, Snowflake, Boomi MDH using MuleSoft, Boomi or other middleware tools.

  • Good experience with LeanIX, LucidChart and other architecture/diagraming tools.
