Senior DevOps Engineering

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineer.

As our new Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible to implement the DevOps methodology in our organization, define/implement the process/tools necessary to have DevOps practices working properly, and support the development and operational teams with these implementations and processes. Nature of Duties

● Responsible to provide solutions to manufacturing problems using DevOps methodologies and tools
● Manage the infrastructure that's needed to support software code in dedicated, multi-tenant, or hybrid cloud environments
● Deploying the applications in appropriate test servers to validate the systems against customers' needs
● Responsible to implement and support the development teams regarding Continuous Integrations (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) - increase delivery speed and product flexibility
● Develop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, log and monitoring services
● Monitor, fix, and improve infrastructure continuously
● Troubleshoot any operational issues related to the infrastructure
● Collaborate with internal teams and respective stakeholders to understand user requirements and implement technical solutions
● Responsible to define the better DevOps tools to be used during the software development
● Ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of the applications by applying adequate patterns and methods

Requirements
Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
● Extended experience (4-6+ years) with IaC (Infrastructure as code), automated single-click deployment, configuration management, production support. The following will be tested during the interview process:
● Experience (4-6+ years) with Terraform: (design, develop, implement, deploy, configure, and maintain) terraform scripts for building and versioning infrastructure against multi-cloud. This is a must have experience.
● Proven expertise (design, implement, deploy, configure, and maintain) in containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
● Advanced experience (4-6+ years) with AWS is required: Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies (Apache, etc) and cloud services (ELB, EBS, S3, Security Groups)
● Experience with Ansilbe, Git and Gitlab.
● Knowledge of Shell scripting
● Good communication skills, both in written and verbal form
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● AWS Cloud certification would be preferred EEO Employer Vets/Disable
