Job Description

We are seeking quantitative-minded individuals with excitement and interest in Solar and Business Development to join our team.  This position will be responsible for prospecting, managing, and optimizing effective installer and financier product partner relationships for EnergyPal's solar business.  The Installer Partnership Manager will work with senior management and internal team members to run effective partnerships that deliver on their performance goals. Work requires a intuitive sense of residential solar economics to exercise discretion in planning and managing dealer partnerships as well as advising management regarding partner performance.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, developing and managing various installer/financier partnerships

  • Analyzing key partner performance and operational metrics such as project completion rate, product pricing and margins, and providing recommendations to management

  • Business developing new residential solar EPC and financier product partnerships

  • Leveraging sales and accounting data to optimize partner performance

  • Communicating effectively with management, operations and sales staff as needed

  • Delivering results from a remote work environment


Note, we will train new hires to use our advanced methodologies for partner and residential project management, therefore the critical skillset for applicants is a strong foundation in quantitative analysis, partner relations, business development, communication, problem solving, and ability to self-manage. Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university

  • Experienced in phone sales, partner management or business development

  • Proficient using Excel or Google Sheets and internet software applications

  • Understanding of solar industry and residential solar installation and financing products

  • Strong communication, analytical, influencing and problem resolution techniques

  • Highly organized self-starter

  • Ability to work remotely under general supervision
