This is a remote position.

UpTeam is a consulting development company with HQ in Silicon Valley and product development centers in Budva, Montenegro, Prague, Czech Republic, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Berlin, Germany. We are working on a number of breakthrough B2B and B2C SaaS and Cloud Automation Projects for the US and global markets. Now we are looking for a Lead FE JS Developer for one of our key projects where we build a best-in-class digital marketing platform for local media and digital agencies. We are developing a SaaS-based platform to enable fast proposals, self-serve ad campaigns management, automated fulfillment, and insightful and actionable reporting and analytics.

We are building modern web applications, storybooks, and are provided technical freedom in choosing libraries and frameworks. Analytical interface, performance data api-s, visualization and dashboards are a very small part of what we do, creating bleeding-edge ad tech products for the largest media company.

Tasks in the position

Define the fundamental approach for the frontend development across company product portfolio
Build, grow and mentor the team of 5-10 software developers
Be 100% hands-on in adding new features for existing web applications
Review the code, maintain the repository, be an end-to-end point of responsibility for the front-end stack and solutions
Participate in new product development and planning
Ensure 100% consistent documentation
Participate in conf. calls and SCRUM ceremonies with global engineering team
Prepare the tech skill matrix, maintain interview scripts and assignments and run assessments for internal workforce

Main stack: VueJS/Typescript, GraphQL & RestAPI, HTML/CSS

Requirements

8+ year experience in software development
5+ year experience in modern frontend development (VueJS, React/ Typescript)
Team leadership experience
GraphQL / RestAPI
Excellent written and spoken English to communicate with US based managers and colleagues
Architecture and system design skills
Passion, energy, enthusiasm

Would be an advantage:
