Job description

This is a remote position.

As an Ecommerce Data Insights Analyst you will specialise in extracting, presenting and interpreting ecommerce data to identify efficiency and growth opportunities across our portfolio of ecommerce businesses, directly impacting commercial decisions and enhancing the shopping experience for thousands of end customers around the world. You can expect to be working on projects such as.

 

  • Assisting our brands’ worldwide ecommerce operations. This entails providing valuable insights and recommendations, developing informative visualisation dashboards, conducting regular and ad-hoc analysis, and conducting business reviews.
  • Building a Data & Insights Roadmap, with a view to extracting as much actionable data as possible and future proofing our reporting tech stack.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends and opportunities that drive growth for our ecommerce brands.
  • Using API integrations with third party tools (such as Google Analytics) to ensure effective utilisation of e-commerce data for marketing and e-commerce reporting.
  • Working with manufacturers to identify and close gaps in data feeds.
  • Maintaining and developing the ecommerce data layer in conjunction with our partner.
  • Leading investigations into understanding trends and patterns in the performance of the OSP ecommerce and then presenting the findings back to leadership and the wider ecommerce team.
  • Using data to drive continuous business improvement.
  • Deriving insights from ecommerce attribution software, helping inform key business decisions.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Data Visualisation tools, ideally Tableau or Looker
  • Experience connecting with and maintaining reporting and supplier APIs
  • Experience building and maintaining SQL databases
  • Experience with FTP file posts & scheduling regular recurring system tasks
  • Experience using Ecommerce/Marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics & AB testing tools such as Optimizely/VWO
  • Experience with analysing and manipulating large data sets
  • Experience manipulating and maintaining an ecommerce data layer, including event and schema setup via tools such as Google Tag Manager
  • Experience providing insights from ecommerce data, from CLV to AOV, and Conversion Rate to Bounce Rate
  • Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical thinker who can break down complex problems
  • A self-starter
  • Experience adapting to a fast-changing environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally to meet with our OSP Partners
Good to have Skills:

• Knowledge of & experience extracting data from Magento (Adobe Commerce)
• Knowledge of & experience extracting data from Amazon Seller Central other ecommerce marketplaces
• Experience with multitouch data attribution tools.
