ABOUT TRADE SCHOOL

Looking for an internship? You’re in the right place. Here, at Trade School, we call them apprenticeships. Why? Because we believe there’s art in learning a trade from a skilled employer. 

As an apprentice at Trade School, you can count on learning a range of skills related to media and content production. Part think tank, part creative agency, part production company, we are a group of scrappy and highly motivated craftspeople who are here to help you grow.

PRODUCTION APPRENTICE

You know how to make some magic happen when it comes to bringing a creative vision to life. Your keen focus helps you keep things moving as you bring teams together to deliver a visual masterpiece. When it comes to planning, developing, and trafficking all things digital media, you’re the star. You’re the glue that holds everything together. You’re an unsung hero.

• PROGRAM DATES: Monday, June 3rd - Friday, August 2nd
• APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, March 22nd, 2024
• AVAILABILITY: This is a full-time, 40hr/week remote internship program. Candidates must be available Monday–Friday. We’re closed on Juneteenth (6/18) and Independence Day (7/4 and 7/5)!
• COMPENSATION: $15/hour
• Computer equipment will be provided

2 MONTHS OF GROWTH

We make it a point to ensure our interns leave with a few extra tools in their proverbial tool belts. Each week, we train our interns on something new by means of sessions and panels, in addition to a summer-long project.

REQUIREMENTS

Academic

• Ability to work 40 hours per week (full-time)
• A minimum 3.0 GPA required
• Previous internship experience preferred

Professional

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities; resourceful
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Prefer students who are hireable after the internship, located in our operating states: SC, NC, TX, GA, FL
