To expand our 24/7 online marketplace as a key service to our clients next to our online auctions, we are looking for a Specialist Online Marketplace in the Yatala, QLD office. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with exciting challenges and is considered a hybrid role . **

The Opportunity**

You love calling and enjoy selling. Your main goal is to generate a continuous flow of equipment that we add to our online marketplace, Marketplace-E. Making outbound calls throughout the day in high volumes is how you ensure the sales process never stops. You provide (potential) clients with information about equipment, our company in general and our auctions. You’re welcome to join our international team, which is spread over 8 different countries. You will be accountable for the following:

  • Process high-volume outbound and inbound calls per day to our customers to increase the number of units sold through our online channels
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing excellent customer service and knowledge of our Sales platforms
  • Meet Marketplace-E sales goals for the month/year and increase sales by cross-selling
  • Educate customers about the terminology, features, and benefits of company
  • Effectively maintain sales and customer database
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction

Here Is What You Bring

You are quick on your feet and have an eye (or ear, to be more exact) for opportunities. Excellent networking and communication skills, as well as excellent organization and verbal communication skills are key in this position. Above all, you have the highest level of customer-centric thinking and a strong ability to create value-adding and win-win relationships. Knowledge of the construction equipment field would be an advantage.

  • Previous experience in account management, negotiating, inside sales or sales
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Quick learner, ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Availability to work full time hours M-F
