Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a passionate, highly motivated, and creative software engineer to be part of its CPU Infrastructure team. We develop methodologies and craft tools to streamline the design/verification of NVIDIA's CPU and SOC designs. What you’ll be doing:

  • Set up scalable verification flows for large IP’s  that caters to multiple projects and variants.

  • Improve continuous integration processes across multiple branches for various IP versions and projects.

  • Continuous improvement of the speed of build and simulation flows.

  • Set up automated metrics and dashboards to monitor health of the infrastructure flows and resources.

  • Set up processes to identify suboptimal areas, and help in improving verification efficiency for the large team of HW engineers.

  • Remove inefficiency wherever you can find it!

  • Architect and develop tools, user interfaces, and reports for chip development, data visualization, resource management, etc.

  • Analyze performance bottlenecks, improve data analytics and visualizations of day to day workflows

  • Debug interesting, complex, and important problems that impact the team

What we need to see:

  • B.Tech./ M.Tech or equivalent experience with 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Linux shell scripting, Makeppfiles, and Perl/Python or equivalent

  • Background with ASIC EDA tool flows, simulators, waveform debug tools, and equivalent

  • Experience with LSF, compute farms, filers, and networks

  • Experience with setup, configuration, and maintenance of Jenkins build servers

  • Background with Web development (HTML/JavaScript/REST) and databases
