ROLE: Salesforce Developer
CLIENT: Farm Bureau Health Plans / PresentSoft
LOCATION: Des Moines IA Remote
WORK PERMIT : GC/USC

BASIC FUNCTION

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom solutions within the Salesforce platform. The person in this role will work with business stakeholders and other IT staff to understand system needs and will design and implement quality solutions to meet business objectives.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Salesforce platform. They will also be responsible for researching platform issues.

Responsibilities and expectations for this position includes:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and validate business requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the Salesforce platform
  • Creating and adhering to project timelines
  • Application testing
  • Maintain documentation and ensure all processes are well-documented and organized
  • Troubleshooting and resolving platform issues
  • Participate in release and change management planning and deployment
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Participate in end-user training for custom solutions


QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.

Work Experience: 3 to 4 years' experience in a Salesforce Developer role. Equivalent work experience in a related role may be considered.

  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Vlocity, and Mulesoft
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs and Mulesoft to create and maintain custom integrations

  • Analyze business needs and develop functional, non-functional and technical specifications
  • Develop technical and functional requirements
