.NET Architect with experience in Data and Cloud

Looking for a .NET Architect with experience in Data and Cloud. There is a preference for candidates located in Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Minneapolis, MN; or Chicago, IL, but they will also consider 100% remote.

Signature Consultants is seeking a motivated and experienced application architect with strong data engineering background in design and development to contribute to the success of our strategic technology initiatives. In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team to design, architect, and drive the delivery of modern application and data solutions. In this role, you will closely partner with business users and delivery teams on requirements gathering, system design, development, and implementation.

• Identify end-to-end solutions, and leverage best practices and patterns.

• Create Proof of Concepts, and prove out new approaches and technologies.

• Provides technical governance and guidance in partnership with application development teams.

• Design and implement the data strategy with the right toolset (ETL, Streaming, etc.)

• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Lead the team in the digital transformation journey.



Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience

• At least five years of experience in architecture role coming from an Application Architect/ senior engineer background.

• At least ten years of experience in developing and implementing applications with end-to-end solutions.



Must-Have Skills/Experience:

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication.

• Collaborative style with an ability to achieve consensus

• MS.NET and .core Framework, REST, Microservice.

• Microsoft SQL Server, large/complex datasets, data modeling, and performance tuning with execution plan.

• T-SQL, Indexed Views, Stored Procedures, and Functions.

• Experience in data engineering in Azure ADF (or another ETL tool), Synapse Analytics, and Parquet file with Python(PySpark).

• Proven track record with CI/CD, Agile/DevOps, and Test Automation.

• Azure Storage, Compute, and Container.



Nice To Have Skills/Experience:

• UI development in React or Angular

• Columnar and document databases like Azure CosmosDB and Apache Cassandra

• Streaming platforms like Apache Kafka and Azure EventHub

• Messaging platforms like Azure ServiceBus and EventGrid

• Azure Databrick with Spark
