Ford's Integrated Services, launched in summer 2023, is set to innovate customer experiences by seamlessly combining hardware, software, and service offerings. it offers unprecedented vehicle customization with OTA updates enhancing vehicle functionality over time. As a Strategy Manager within this initiative, you'll shape the future of Ford's connected services and products. As a Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of connected services and products within Integrated Services. Reporting to the Strategy & Operations Senior Manager, you will be responsible for conducting thorough market analyses, benchmarking competitors, developing strategic insights and recommendations, and facilitating the execution of initiatives that support our long-term business goals. The Strategy Manager will be part of a small, agile team tasked with the definition, development and implementation of the strategic vision for a subset of the portfolio of products within Integrated Services to create stable and sustainable success for this growth business. The ideal candidate must be relentlessly curious and possess a desire to understand and anticipate strategic opportunities and threats to Ford, emergent trends, and customer psychology and behavior.
The Strategy Manager will need to collaborate closely with organizations inside and outside of Integrated Services, including Ford Blue, Model e, Digital Product, Cycle Planning, Customer Knowledge and Strategy, Global Brand and Integrated Marketing. Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate with peers and partners is required. **
Responsibilities**
What you'll do...
- Define strategic vision for connected service and products within Integrated Service’s portfolio
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine strategic plans that align with the defined strategic vision and objectives
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions and workshops to drive alignment and consensus among stakeholders
- Conduct comprehensive industry, market, and competitive analyses to identify key trends and opportunities for growth within the world’s digital environment
- Contribute to synthesizing strategic insights into compelling narratives, with future state vision, to be used to gain executive leadership buy-in
- Serve as a thought leader within the organization, staying abreast of industry developments and best practices in strategy formulation and execution
- Driving special strategy projects that deliver the greatest enterprise value
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in a strategy, brand management or strategic finance related role. Experience in management consulting is ideal
- Proficiency on PowerPoint / Excel, building presentations for senior leadership reviews
- Desired behaviors:

- Comfort working in whitespace; Familiar leveraging management consulting structured problem-solving frameworks, including "How to win" concepts

- Empathy for customers and strong understanding of personal biases
- Interest in psychology and consumer decision making
- Knowledge of market trends, and strong interest in emerging trends
- High level of creativity, and ability to draw inspiration from unrelated areas
- Experience cultivating information and data from a variety of sources and synthesizing into a cohesive story
- Adept at project management; comfortable as both team lead and team member. Flexibility to juggle multiple priorities and projects daily while keeping long-term deadlines/goals in mind
- Self-starter capable of operating independently and adapting to dynamic needs

- Experience in media, gaming, entertainment, telecommunications, or automotive industries
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods
