What You’ll Be Doing**

The VM Sales Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational and administrative needs of the Mid-Market Vertical Market Sales teams and serve as a central resource for any initiative and/or special projects as assigned.

The VM Sales Coordinator will be responsible for researching, contacting, and setting up new customers based on warm leads from our GPO/Co-Op partners. Leads may come in the form of a Price Activation, Digital Sales Room inquiry, Web Site and/or direct email. The coordinator will own the entire process of onboarding the customer and closing the loop with our IDN/GPO Partners.

The VM Sales Coordinator may also monitor assigned Bid Sites in search of additional business opportunities for Staples and respond to or disseminate those opportunities as appropriate. **

Tasks Include, But Are Not Limited To**

  • Onboarding/Converting New Vertical Market Customers
  • Monitoring bid sites
  • GPO Contract Price Activations
  • Product research/cross referencing
  • Provide pricing via Price Right for quotes
  • Basic Reporting
  • Special Projects

What You Bring To The Table

  • Ensure a smooth and pleasant on-boarding experience for customers
  • Ensure sales team has the support needed to quickly and efficiently meet the needs of the customer
  • Identify trends of issues quickly and collaborate with Program Manager on resolution
  • Make sound business decisions by putting the customer first
  • Develop strong working relationships with functional partners

Qualifications

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years related experience
  • Excellent follow up and follow through on all tasks
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PPT)
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work
  • Ability to handle a high-volume of task-oriented requests/multitask
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

What’s Needed- Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Salesforce
