Position Schedule: Full-Time **

Responsibilities**

Join the Firm Strategy Shared Services organization where the direction of the firm is being defined. You will be a member of the Portfolio & Program Services (PPS) team within Shared Services as a portfolio analyst, using standard tools and processes combined with your experience to provide oversight and guidance to one or more portfolios or strategic programs. The PPS team is a small group who supports one another and has regular opportunities to engage and support senior leaders across the Firm Strategy organization. The role has a broad range of responsibilities that include:

  • Stakeholder management to create efficiencies and influence positive portfolio/program outcomes
  • Manage work intake and prioritization
  • Ensure the work is represented and maintained in Clarity, Jira and/or Aha!
  • Actively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and trade-offs
  • Facilitate regular execution reviews and provide visibility of status to senior leaders
  • Provide resource management support and associated Clarity tool support to portfolio/program leaders, including developing and delivering actionable resource-oriented insights
  • Support adoption of firm-level tool enhancement roll-outs for Clarity, Jira, etc.
  • Maintain understanding of methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, in order to assist with appropriate execution and resource management strategies
  • Various portfolio/program-related administrative responsibilities (meeting minutes, scheduling meetings, developing agendas, etc.)

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $81750

Hiring Maximum: $139194 **

Skills/Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • 5+ years working in a project environment either as a portfolio manager, program manager, or project manager leading large projects
  • 2-3 years of experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Clarity in a project management capacity
  • Experience working with Jira, Rally, or comparable Agile tool
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; effectively communicates with organizational leaders; incorporates effective listening and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks/projects and autonomously adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to summarize complex information and concepts and clearly communicate to various audiences
  • Works effectively both autonomously and team environment
  • A positive approach to fulfilling responsibilities: willingness to engage in healthy team debate and ultimately support decisions even if they are different than the candidate's recommendation
  • Willingness to be flexible - to pitch in and help to accomplish a goal even if the need is outside typical responsibilities

  • Power BI experience
  • Financial Services experience
  • PMP certification
  • Series 7 and/or 66

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday
