Lead I - DevOps Engineering

You Are**

The Release Engineer is responsible for Managing Version Control, Packaging, and Deploying Software contributing to the CICD Cycle and managing the software development infrastructure. One should be a team player and should be able to coordinate and work with multiple teams. **

The Opportunity**

  • Executing and monitoring all the fast-paced queues and tasks timely and conscientious.
  • Implementing Jenkins job setup, configuration, and execute.
  • Scripting build steps, triggers, and other automation using Bash, PowerShell, Groovy, etc.
  • Manage Version Control using TFS and GIT
  • Package and Deploy software to company standards and requirements on multiple product levels.
  • Tirage and resolve issues like build failures, deploy issues, merge conflicts, manage user accounts, and other daily user request conflicts.
  • Contribute to CICD Cycle: Manage the software development infrastructure including working with the development team to implement CI/CD automation in Jenkins, source code repositories, and manage release areas.
  • Willingness to help with on-call rotations after office hours/weekends/holidays to help with Client’s escalation, urgent requests, or during outage resolutions.
  • Adapt to the situational requirements and changing environment of the packages and help the team push the release in a timely manner.

What You Need**

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related IT field.
  • A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company’s learning philosophy, is required.
  • Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
  • Five or more years of experience in a related field, typically in at least two of the following areas is preferred: healthcare information technology, healthcare economics, healthcare policy, statistical modeling, business decisions, analysis, or business management.
  • Experience in healthcare is highly preferred.
  • Analytical Thinking to improve performance and reliability.
  • Problem-solving, bug fixing, troubleshooting and triaging.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas.
  • Team collaboration skills: Need to be able to work with various teams with people on various skill set levels from Project Managers, Release Managers, Dev Leads, DEV Teams, DevOps, Windows teams, and support/deployment teams.
  • Hands-on experience in version control tools like Visual Studio-TFS and Git.
  • Understand Scripting/Programming and development including PowerShell, Unix, Bash, and Groovy
  • Experience in using issue-tracking software, like JIRA
  • Hands-on experience in Jenkins to monitor jobs, analyze issues, and order jobs when the situation demands.
  • Strong ability to work independently and direct the efforts of others.
  • Experience in the following technologies and willingness to work on other technologies: MS SQL, Oracle, Linux
  • Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels.
  • Knowledge of .Net C#, SQL/PLSQL, Oracle, and UNIX a plus
