Job description

Milestone Technologies’ Presales Team supports Sales and other departments within Milestone with client-facing materials. This includes responding to formal RFIs and RFPs as well as sales enablement materials, proactive proposals, slide presentations, and SOWs. The department also builds content and maintains a content repository.The Milestone Proposal Analyst has the primary responsibility to provide end-to-end proposal management. This individual will: - Be comfortable working as the go-to person in leading and administering the entire proposal process for assigned pursuits - Show success executing the conventional duties of proposal management, which include analyzing and writing responses, as well as managing schedules, among other related tasks, and communicating with senior leadership - Possess strong research, evaluation/analysis, writing, and attention to detail skills

How You Will Make an Impact: - Identify and confirm response team members - Build a response team collaboration space online - Build out a response plan, including an internal timeline and assignments - Build a content plan, including win themes, value propositions, discriminators, and content mapping - Set up team status call series and any required stakeholder review meetings - Manage the process for asking questions of the client - Build response shell documents that align with RFX layout requirements and corporate styles and standards - Answer corporate-related RFX questions - Ensure other response team members are providing relevant, quality content following the internal timeline - Lead proposal team members in the consistent use of processes and procedures - Manage version control of technical/narrative response documents - Prep materials for internal reviews and lead these reviews - Copy and edit a variety of content - Prepare final responses in compliance with RFX requirements - Complete post-submission actions, including archiving deliverables and updating the content library - Prepare materials for a Lessons Learned session when necessary - Assist with creating content and maintaining the content library - Assist with creating proactive/unsolicited proposals, typically in PowerPoint and Word formats - Assist with SOW creation with content assignments, approvals, and version control - Other related duties as required

What You Will Need to Succeed: - 4-8 years of relevant, progressive experience in various areas of proposal development and management - Bachelor’s degree preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in O365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint; Adobe Acrobat; and web-based interfaces - Be able to explain complex concepts in layman’s terms in written and visual formats - Ability to write persuasively - Proven experience developing responses to detailed RFXs - Capable of understanding and/or learning a variety of technical concepts - Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details concurrently - Ability to work independently and in cooperation with a larger regional team - Ability to work with different personality styles, both in person and across geographies - Ability to develop and/or assist the sales and technical leads in developing compelling themes, discriminators, and messaging - Ability to use standard English writing styles and structures; including the ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals) into a cohesive and persuasive final product - Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques - Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and rapidly changing priorities - Degree in English/Journalism, Communications, or Marketing preferred - Effective visual layout skills in Word and PowerPoint - Experience with InDesign

Compensation :The estimated pay range for this position is USD $80,000/Yr. - USD $125,000/Yr. and is an Exempt role.
