The Lactation Network is hiring a DevOps Engineer. We're looking for someone who will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, focusing on streamlining our software delivery pipeline and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications and infrastructure. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and improve our development and deployment processes while managing and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure.

Breakdown of the role - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (50%). You’ll work with the software development teams to support new development with CI/CD pipelines. - Azure/AWS cloud management (25%). __ This role will directly interact (build, deploy, automate, & maintain) with TLN’s applications and infrastructure in the Azure and AWS clouds. - Maintain observability (25%). You’ll use monitoring platforms to maintain observability over TLN’s distributed cloud architecture.
What you’ll doThe DevOps Engineer will report to the Software Architect and work with our development teams, IT operations, and business stakeholders to ensure our products and services deploy and operate smoothly. This will be done in the context of an agile team. - Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery - Manage and configure cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and scaling resources as needed - Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Bicep or OpenTofu - Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. - Implement security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability scanning. - Continuously improve and refine DevOps practices through automation and documentation. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic recommendations.
What we expect from you - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role - Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., OpenTofu, Bicep, ARM) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) - Familiarity with Git - Solid understanding of network and system administration - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Experience with logging/monitoring platforms (e.g., DataDog, Elastic Search, Splunk, Application Insights)
