Job Description
Full-Time/Evenings and Weekends
Pay-18$-22$ per hour
The Supervisor oversees and directs team members to ensure customer service, sales goals and Saf-T-Swim training standards are met daily. In the absence of the management team, a supervisor is responsible for the efficient and overall operation of the Swim school. They support the Manager’s daily operational plan through accurate scheduling, motivating, training and coaching team members to achieve results.
Responsibilities
• Model excellent customer service skills and coach employees to do so.
• Supervise and direct employees based on daily schedule and their role requirements • Recommend hiring, disciplinary actions, promotions and recognition for team members.
• Schedule and conduct on-going training.
• Resolve customer/employee issues professionally; escalate to management team when necessary.
• Ensure all sales associates and instructors are following proper policies and procedures.
• Perform Administrative duties and conduct Facilities Checklist daily.
• Maintain Inventory and merchandise displays.
• Maintain facility and ensure overall cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Perform required opening and/or closing, cash handling and banking procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Excellent time management skills.
• Previous Supervisory experience a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and/or holidays
. • High school degree or equivalent.
• Consistently work 30+ hours a week, not to exceed 40 hours.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• CPR/Lifeguard certifications.
• Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the US.
• Physical Demands: • Occasionally, must be able to lift and/or move about 25lbs
