Job Description

As a System Design Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture and functionality of complex systems. Your focus will be on designing and implementing robust solutions that meet business goals while ensuring seamless integration of electrical and electronic components. 

Responsibilities:

  1. System Architecture Design:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and business analysts, to define system requirements.
    • Create detailed design specifications and rationale documentation to guide the development process.
    • Develop a conceptual model of user interactions with the system, considering data storage, processing, and overall functionality.
  2. Technology Evaluation and Research:
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to system design.
    • Assess how new technologies could impact the system being developed.
    • Recommend innovative solutions to align with business objectives.
  3. System Modeling and Visualization:
    • Work closely with designers to create system diagrams illustrating component interactions.
    • Ensure clarity in conveying architectural decisions to stakeholders.
  4. Security and Risk Assessment:
    • Identify potential security risks and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Advise on best practices for secure system design.
  5. Hardware and Software Specifications:
    • Determine hardware and software requirements based on system design goals.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation.
  6. Liaison and Communication:
    • Act as a bridge between development teams and other departments within the organization.
    • Clearly communicate architectural concepts and decisions to all stakeholders.

 

Qualifications
  • Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • experience in systems architecture, design, and development.
    • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
    • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
    • Experience with DOORS, ECU.
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Ability to lead and coordinate complex projects.
