Position: Social Media Manager
Number of hours: 10 hours/week
Schedule: Flexible hours between 10:30AM to 6PM, EST
Tasks required:
Manage the social media channels of the client (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc)
Set up and/or optimize company pages within each platform to increase the company's social content visibility
Schedule daily posts on different social media platforms
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Analyze conversion funnels, identifying and optimizing key messaging opportunities to help attract and retain customers.
Mapping out a strong long term social media strategy to create brand longevity in the market
Review site content, conversion funnels, analytics and statistics to make recommendations for new and creative growth strategies
Generate new ideas for social media posts and execute against them from start to finish, including occasional video and photo editing
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) to build meaningful connections
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Respond regularly to various engagements (Comments, DMs, reposting, likes)
Prepare monthly progress reports to measure the success of social media campaign
Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements:
Experience as a Social Media manager or relevant experience
Experience with creative writing and can create compelling content to effectively engage the target audience
Background in creating content for the Accounting industry is highly desired
Must have experience in email marketing and marketing automation software (ActiveCampaign)
Willing to work at least an hour on a weekend
Can work independently and with minimum supervision
Familiarity in using social media analytics software like ClickFunnels
Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Yelp and other social media platforms for business purposes
Well versed in social media marketing and advertising
Knowledge in engaging and interacting with the different types of demographics
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
