Job Description: Azure DevOps Developer

Position: Azure DevOps Developer
Experience: 7 years or more
Location: Remote

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Azure DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure DevOps Developer, you will play a critical role in building, deploying, and maintaining our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Your expertise in Azure DevOps tools and practices will help streamline our development processes and ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and QA engineers, to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
2. Develop, configure, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services, ensuring smooth and efficient automated build, test, and deployment processes.
3. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking resources.
4. Implement and manage configuration management processes using tools like ARM templates, PowerShell, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, build failures, and infrastructure problems, ensuring high availability of our applications.
6. Collaborate with development teams to improve code quality, test coverage, and development workflows by integrating code analysis, automated testing, and code review tools within the CI/CD pipeline.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure DevOps best practices and technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to existing processes.
8. Participate in architectural discussions and provide valuable insights on designing cloud-native and highly available solutions.
9. Contribute to the documentation of system configurations, architecture, and standard operating procedures.
10. Assist in managing Azure subscriptions, resource groups, access controls, and billing management.
11. Coach and mentor junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven work experience as an Azure DevOps Developer or a similar role with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
3. Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Services (formerly known as Visual Studio Team Services or VSTS), including CI/CD pipeline creation and management, release management, and build automation.
4. Proficient in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
5. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
6. Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices for securing Azure resources.
7. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
10. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Administrator) are a plus.
