The Role of Business Development Manager

  • This is a hybrid / field sales role.
  • As Business Development Manager you will self-generate your own appointments approaching companies offering digital print, document management, graphic design, large format print and bespoke creative solutions to a wide variety of clients.
  • Customers will be SME's as well as corporates in the following sectors (creative marketing and design agencies), financial services, legal, retail, construction, engineering and architecture.
  • Decision makers and stakeholders are typically Marketing Managers, Heads of Creative, Operations Managers, Owners and Managers.
  • This role is 70% new business and 30% account management (once you win an account you will manage and develop the account / relationship thereafter).
  • This varied role will require you to build relationships with clients an offer bespoke creative solutions.

This opportunity would suit a business developer / account manager who can prospect as well as foster long term relationships.

The Candidate

  • Field sales B2B experience with a proven track record of sourcing and winning new business

  • Understanding of GP and margins

The Package

  • up to £35,000
  • £6,300 car allowance
  • £15K uncapped OTE paid monthly
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
