Global Strategic Account Manager at GEODIS Netherlands B.V.

GEODIS Netherlands B.V. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Strategic Account Manager to join our Global Account Management team. As a Global Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our key global accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.

You will handle the portfolio of strategic accounts of global importance to the FF LoB through a high level engagement in each case across a broad service offering. To outline and align a growth and retention strategy which is shared as a strategic account plan document across the account related product teams within the network. To ensure activity is executed profitably and is aligned with the standard operating process which is recognized by the client. Manage quarterly business reviews (QBR) and annual strategic reviews which align areas of opportunity, improvement and corporate strategic direction.

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record of managing global accounts, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key global accounts
  • Understand customer business needs and develop customized solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services and solutions
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and deploy strategic account plans
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers as well as with influencers
  • Identify Business opportunities on strategic accounts
  • Identify how to develop existing business within the GEODIS Group
  • Support clients' needs on supply-chain issues
  • Understand the client's issues and find / Propose appropriated solutions
  • Assist the client in order to meet their specific requirements
  • Manage and lead a “virtual team” in order to develop strategic accounts
  • Improve client relationship developments within the business
  • Define and drive the BD strategy across the customer team
  • Strengthen business relations
  • Promote the awareness of the key accounts within GEODIS
  • Manage/coordinate responses to commercial opportunities
  • Be the commercial lead on each of the tenders from NDA to the signature of the contract and implementation
  • Communicate the developments of the project internally (Go/No Go)
  • Validate within the business units the technical and financial requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and ensure that the terms are in line with the terms and conditions of the group, work closely with Legal
  • Continually modernize business strategy to gain competitive advantage.
  • Conduct business reviews with close collaboration with the client's team
  • Promote the group's products & service
  • Negotiate the client's quotes in order to ensure the profitability of the business.
  • Be responsible for the profitability of the activities across the portfolio
  • To ensure that operations are profitable
  • Work closely with the local P&L's and customers to recover gaps (if any)
  • Monthly Overdue follow up and overall receivable accountabilities
