Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer who will join our pratner's TAC team and provide professional activities, interfacing with customers, service engineers at the branches, third-party support, company R&D and other units, under following main responsibilities:

  • Serves as the front-line support person for handling cloud-related activities (Tier 3 support, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting)
  • Provides in-depth analysis of critical or repetitive malfunctions
  • Initiates and triggers proactive and preventive activities
  • Participates in on-call duties, under a rotation base
  • Accountable for filling in all relevant CRM data so that it reflects the status of the assigned tasks and the action taken during the analysis and resolution of the service request.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a technical support expert in the electronic industry
  • “Out of the box” thinker
  • Highly motivated, creative, and professional
  • Fast and independent learning capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple interfaces
  • Ability to work in a very challenging and dynamic environment, complying with work procedures and methodologies
  • Willingness to work in flexible hours
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Responsibility and dedication

Relevant technical knowledge:

  • IP Networking
  • Windows Server (Administration and troubleshooting)
  • Linux CentOS 7 (Administration and troubleshooting)
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Azure
  • Familiar with cloud services architecture
  • Familiar with monitoring tools such as Datadog
