Job description

  • Blue chip market leading manufacturer of commercial lighting looking for the next superstar from OUTSIDE OF THE INDUSTRY

Area Sales Manager - Commercial Lighting - South East

  • This is a field / home based role with a true market leader!
  • Our client are looking for a dynamic, career driven B2B sales professional on the upward curve of their career.
  • Promoting the company's range of state-of the-art retail lighting, you manage prestigious blue-chip high street retail accounts identifying opportunities and developing relationships with their internal design departments.
  • Along side this you will be tasked with maintaining and building relationships with retail design agencies who are responsible for the interior design of retail spaces.
  • This multi-faceted role will require you to be able to converse with all levels of decision maker (including Sustainability Managers, A&D Architects, Interior Design Teams etc).
  • You will deliver CPD presentations as well as 'lunch & Learns.'
  • This role will require approx. 2/3 days per week in London.
  • The first years target will be circa £500k - there is currently approx. £250k in the current pipeline.

  • Strong presentation skills / articulate / credible / polished
  • Driven, career minded with an excellent work ethic 
  • A degree is NOT REQUIRED but graduate calibre is!

The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager

  • £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
  • OTE £50- £60K
  • Electric Vehicle or Hybrid OR OPT OUT car allowance
  • 25 days holiday plus your birthday (increases with length of service)
