About the team & Opportunity:

innovaTel is looking for both full- time, 40 hour, Licensed Clinical Social Workers licensed in Minnesota. Working patients across the LIFESPAN in an Outpatient Community Mental Health Center Setting. We provide a tremendous amount of support to our clinical team and want our clinicians to be able to focus on what’s most important - patient care. Come join our exceptional team!

Accountabilities:

  • Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations.
  • Develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria.
  • Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality
  • Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by standards of care.
  • Participate in treatment meetings, consultation, and collaboration with members of clinical team.
  • Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant and active LCSW license in the state of Minnesota
  • Certified and / or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT and Motivational Interviewing
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, positive relationship building skills and critical analysis.
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
  • Well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting and concurrent documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
  • Experienced in caring for patients with co-occurring substance use disorders
  • Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
