Position Summary:
As a Sales Director at LINQ, your role is to take ownership of a designated territory and lead a team of Enterprise Sales Reps. Your primary focus is to drive strategic outcomes for public and private school districts within your assigned region through our suite of SaaS solutions. To succeed, you must demonstrate strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of enterprise K-12 sales methodologies, and the ability to foster a high-performing sales team. Your impact will extend beyond individual deals, as you guide and inspire your team to deliver tailored solutions that yield measurable value and contribute to the transformation of education.
Job Duties:
• Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of LINQ products and the needs of the customers
• Coach, guide and empower team of sales reps to achieve quarterly sales goals
• Assign sales goals and quotas to the team and ensure accountability
• Establish OKRs and metrics for your team and regularly track and report on their progress
• Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement
• Facilitate successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch
• Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
• Accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
• Perform other duties as needed
Knowledge/Skills Required:
• Ability to build relationships through consensus building and positive interactions with customers and coworkers
• Experience developing and upskilling teams
• Experience implementing best sales practices including process and methodology
• Strong empathy for customers
• Passion for and experience with finding methods of increasing revenue and growth
• Desire for continuous learning and improvement
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information
• Professionalism, integrity, and excellent judgment in all interactions
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales, with 2+ years in people management, preferably in a B2B industry
• Technical proficiency in using relevant desktop, web-based and mobile products, including presentations and spreadsheets
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details, including ability to document customer interactions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including well-developed telephone etiquette
• Strong presentation skills for both remote and onsite customer interaction
Travel Requirements:
• Up to 60%
