Job Overview

This position is under the guidance and direct supervision of the PACE Care Center Supervisor. The Food Preparation Coordinator will have direct responsibility for the coordination of all food services, including breakfast and lunch preparations, home meals, center snacks, and special events. Responsible for overseeing the daily duties of the kitchen staff, maintains records required for Food Safety and Sanitation, and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and ensures that all food preparation meets the standards and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

1. Food Safety Manager Certificate.

2. BLS certification required.

3. Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred.

4. A minimum of two years’ experience working in any capacity in the Food Preparation department required; with the elderly population and their families

preferably, in a community agency or health care setting preferred.

5. A minimum of one year of experience in leading kitchen services preferred.
