Job description

Family owned Lauth Investigations International, Inc. is an Indianapolis based private investigation firm with over 30 years of experience in corporate culture audit, attorney and legal services, workplace investigations, and missing persons. We are seeking to contract out a Private Investigator who can work on an as needed basis and has evenings and weekends available, though daytime availability is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct face-to-face interviews with subjects, neighbors, coworkers, friends, and associates, surveillance activities, record searches at law enforcement agencies and courthouses and financial and educational institutions relative to the subject of investigation.
  • Investigators will be required to compile complete records from investigations such as witness statements, surveillance logistics, and electronic data gathering. All information extracted will be submitted into a highly accurate and in-depth report.
  • Candidates must pay strict attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and take initiative. Work involves a variety of sensitive and highly confidential material.
Qualifications:
  • Candidate MUST have two (2) or more years of experience in investigations experience.
  • Candidate MUST have (2) or more years of surveillance experience.
  • Candidate MUST possess a valid PI License.
  • Be willing to travel up to 100 miles radius based on a geographic location.
  • The ideal candidate is organized, self -motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work under heightened emotional situations and unpleasant conditions as well as on-call 24 hours.
  • Must have excellent interviewing and writing skills.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision working remotely or in-house.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, graveyard shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
