Senior PHP Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications for our automotive platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and suggest improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical software defects and performance issues
• Participate in product planning, providing technical input and estimates
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to drive innovation within the company

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a PHP Engineer, with a focus on backend development
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with MySQL, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Thorough understanding of agile development methodologies
• Experience working in the automotive industry is a plus
