Your missions

Peoplevisor is seeking Workday Advanced Compensation consultants with HCM systems experience and expertise in the areas of Compensation and Advanced Compensation with a technical aptitude and capability to configure the product to meet the business requirements and design specifications of our clients. As an Advanced Compensation Consultant, you will be expected to provide expert guidance and delivery on all project engagements.  You will also be responsible for managing to the agreed budget and delivering the project profitably.


 


KEY EXPECTATIONS


  • This is a client facing role with assigned responsibilities that will include acting as a primary/lead consultant on Compensation projects regardless of size or strategic importance.
  • Superior communication, consultative and presentation skills with solid technical abilities to lead client engagements.
  • Experience in data loads, validation and extraction of Workday Data (iLoads, EIB, workbooks, XML, etc.)
  • Possess expert client management skills that includes capturing of business requirements, providing options and sharing best practices within the Workday ecosystem, as well as participating in business development discussions to deepen relationships.
  • Continually increase Workday knowledge by attending training and monitoring relevant Workday Community postings.
  • Develop relationships with appropriate Workday employees and other partners as a representative of Peoplevisor.
  • Design and implement solutions to solve highly complex technical and business problems.
  • Accountable for data validation and integrity issues.
  • Work with project managers and other consultants to forecast the hours allocated for your role across the project timeline. Provide your project manager with weekly updates to estimate the hours needed to complete the work and updates to forecasted hours.
  • Responsible for adhering to the Workday Methodology.
  • Responsible for complete unit testing.
  • The successful candidate is very confident with a strong opinion and experience, to make recommendations and can hold their own in supporting these recommendations.
  • Configuration experience; be able to drive process design and should be able to learn as needed.
  • Lead testing efforts of the client during UAT.
  • Accountable for the successful deployment of your workstream into production.
  • Understand and work toward the responsibilities of the next level.


 


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Workday Certification in HCM, Core Compensation & Advanced Compensation preferred. If not already certified, certification in HCM, Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation will be required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Completed 3-5 projects within the Workday ecosystem.
  • 3+ years of Workday experience as a consultant.
  • CPP certification strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and execution of Workday project management methodologies.
  • Must have led implementations specific to HCM, Core Compensation and/or Advanced Compensation.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously a plus.
  • Expected travel is +/-40% depending on project.
  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • Preferred "Certified Compensation Professional"
