Job Overview**
The Data Center Procurement Technician is skilled and experienced with receiving and completing orders. Responsible for handling all order and fulfillment matters including but not limited to stocking orders, reviewing all tracked and received shipments, and assessing vendor pricing and performance. **
How You Make An Impact**
- Complete requests for materials and equipment for End User Services, New Builds, Networking, equipment replacements
- Review scheduled orders to ensure correct priority and processing of purchase requests and order placement with selected vendor
- Ensure vendor administration and tracking delivery of orders, as well as exceptions and vendor errors
- Work with the Global Order and Fulfillment Team to regularly assess vendor pricing and performance
- Ensure that orders are placed through the correct vendors and maintaining visibility to confirm delivery to multiple offices around the US and international
- Complete additional tasks assigned by Logistics Team Lead or Management
What You Need To Succeed:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory or related field
- Available to work PST Hours 9am-5pm shift
- Strong organizational skills and solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ready, willing, and able to deliver excellence independently or collaboratively
- Analytical thinker who can help organize and complete tasks
- Innovative and self-motivated, with a keen ability to ask questions, as well as a self-directed learner
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Possess experience with inventory management
- Experience in purchasing, which may include working with vendors, creating purchase orders, and invoicing
- Have a solid understanding of Procure to Pay downstream operations.
- Operational mindset with a focus on execution
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with systems and processes by working with necessary stakeholders
- Diligent problem-solving skills and takes accountability for decisions and actions
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, make sound decisions, and possess a keen attention to detail
- Experienced working in a high-paced operations environment with rigorous SOX compliance procedures, as well as less defined areas of responsibility that require optimization.
- Have a solid understanding of a customer service environment and how to approach a highly variable level of stakeholders - from an intern to a Senior Director level.
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills
- Expert in Google Sheets and/or Excel advanced formulas - IF statements, vlookup, PivotTables, Charts, ImportRanges
- Highly proficient with process documentation and interested in process design and optimization.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team member
- Proficient with Google Docs
- Proficient with Google Slides/Powerpoint
- Able to speak and write English fluently
Preferred Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in logistics, inventory or related field
- Basic understanding of Coupa
Compensation
Estimated Pay Range: $30 - $35.81/hr and is a non-exempt role. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location. **
