_ Job Summary

The Reviewer (Technical Editor) is responsible for reviewing the grammar and spelling of the materials we develop (analyzing grammar, punctuation, spelling mistakes and contextual errors), as well as adapting the language (according to the target audience of the materials) and quality assurance of deliveries. **

Main Activities**

  • Analyzing texts in different educational objects, paying attention to the expressions used, syntax, spelling and precision to ensure their correctness, clarity, conciseness and harmony.
  • Reworking texts, giving them form and meaning.
  • Providing feedback on markings and indications of adjustments to the content designers.
  • Validating textual and visual standards in accordance with the client's manual.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a grammar and spelling checker.
  • Degree in Languages (Portuguese Language and Brazilian Literature; English Language and Literature and Spanish Language or Literature).
  • Knowledge of the Office package required.
  • Other training courses in the area are a plus.
