Job Purpose Summary**

The Senior Manager, Sales Operations will support the sales team through the utilization of ACT Programs, New Product Market Development, Strategic Pricing and In-Services. This is a build-it job, where the individual will build out the right strategies to work as the “hub” of Marketing, Sales and Medical Education. **

What You Will Do**

  • Drive leadership, and provide support to sales team in relation to market development and customer interaction
  • Work interdependently within different functional areas of the business (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Medical Education, etc.)
  • Prepare and maintain an annual working sales plan, including analysis and forecasting that reflects activities/efforts necessary to achieve company goals and quotas.
  • Continually gathers information on the competitive landscape, prevalent industry trends, and business climate within the territory and shares it with the company.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings as needed.
  • Understand and comply with applicable customer policies, HIPAA, and vendor requirements.
  • Develop key relationships with external customers to exceed sales objectives and to identify emerging needs and business challenges.
  • Monitor competitive activity to ensure that Corza is abreast of competitive and new developments in the marketplace and remains in the forefront of the industry.
  • Provide a basis for development of new products and product improvements through field market research, monitoring and providing competitive intel, and supporting new products evaluations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • A minimum of three years sales experience in Ophthalmology or related field.
  • Proficient with CRM platform (Salesforce.com).
  • Highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
  • Highly customer focused.
  • Excellent selling and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of top sales performance, sales awards.
  • Must be able to analyze financial information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint as well as networks and internet applications.
  • 25%-50% travel domestically.
