Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to obtain, provide, analyze and evaluate data to support the financial and operational decisions of the Rite Aid Pharmacy Purchasing department.

  • Program the extraction of data for business projects within the pharmacy area as well as other areas of the company as deemed appropriate by the business.
  • Evaluate and analyze the business impact of RFPs and contracts to provide management with the necessary reporting to assist in decision making.
  • Prepare various ad hoc reports including but not limited to; inventory on hand in stores, store transfers, drug utilization by stores, specialty buy analysis reports for the Pharmacy Purchasing team.
  • Supporting changes to application and processes that would have an impact to the Pharmacy Purchasing Team.
  • Creation and maintenance of reporting analysis as required for Pharmacy Purchasing management review.
  • Solve complex analytical and data problems while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource concerning data analytics tools and data structures for Pharmacy Purchasing.
  • Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.

The typical starting pay range for this position is between $23.20-32.01 hourly, although wages can very based on experience and geography.
