Job Description

We have the fully remote option part-time or full-time freelance support for the next 12 months in our Specialty Eyecare products after sales support to our customers via phone and e-mail. We are seeking skilled contact lens practitioner or equivalent

Main duties within the function

Performing the following tasks at the Customer Service Department

  • Providing fitting advice by fitting software, telephone and / or in writing
  • Calculation of contact lens parameters
  • Providing support and training primary from the office

Coordination and feedback of complaints and returns to customers. **

Responsibilities**

Internal

  • Working at Technical Support department within CS Specialty Eye Care
  • Closely collaborates with Professional Affairs and CS .
  • Consults with Marketing, Sales and RAQA to coordinate opportunities and complaints.

External

Interact with customers from Benelux and EMEA to coordinate questions, complaints and advice **

Qualifications**

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Has experience in Ortho-k fitting and after care, preferably DreamLite
    • Has experience with fitting and after care of custom made RGP and Soft contact lenses
    • Preferably has knowledge of Specialty EyeCare Products and software

Preferably has at least some basic knowledge about fitting scleral lenses

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid : Office environment with the possibility to work from home
  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer
  • Contact lens examination room

Experience:

    • Has at least 3 years of experience as a contact lens practitioner
    • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience with the fitting of orthokeratology
    • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience with fitting RGP and soft contact lenses
  • Preferably has at least some basic knowledge about fitting scleral lenses
    • Has knowledge of Specialty EyeCare Products and software;

Education:

    • Has at least a completed the education of contact lens practitioner or equivalent
    • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
