In this integral role, you will contribute significantly to the successful delivery of large-scale construction and fit-out projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure excellence in project execution.As a key member reporting directly to the Divisional Director, the ideal candidate will possess a unique and versatile skillset, particularly in the realm of construction project management. This role involves frequent client visits within the city of London.Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirements Gathering: Lead the collection of project requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project needs. 2. Technical Feedback: Provide valuable technical feedback at every stage of project development, leveraging expertise in construction project management. 3. Communication and Documentation: Record and communicate project progress through all stages to senior managers, fostering transparency and accountability. 4. End-to-End Project Involvement: Dive into every aspect of project design and delivery, showcasing proficiency in commercial building construction and fit-out.
Experience & Skills Required: - Construction Project Management: Proven experience leading or managing projects in M&E, software, controls systems, with a focus on large-scale construction projects. - Educational Background: Hold a degree in a related discipline such as mechanical, electrical, or computer science/software. - Team Leadership: Showcase the ability to lead teams with diverse skillsets, ensuring cohesion and efficiency. - Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and people management skills, essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Experience: - Construction Focus: Emphasize expertise in commercial building construction and fit-out, showcasing proficiency in navigating the complexities of such projects. - Systems Integration: Highlight experience in Systems Integration within the context of technology, heating, mechanical, electrical, and/or audio-visual systems. - Controls Systems Specialism: Showcase specialization in controls systems, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of this critical aspect. - Energy Monitoring Systems: Demonstrate knowledge of Energy Monitoring systems, adding value to your skillset.
