Job description

Our major retail client is looking for a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to assist in providing data-driven solutions to support merchandising objectives. This involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams, including Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Store Operations. You would be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to support Merchandising initiatives.

This is a fully remote position that will be supporting the client's reporting processes which occur from 7-8AM CST. **

Responsibilities :**

Develop and implement solutions that improve key merchandising metrics and automate processes, reducing the need for ad-hoc reporting.
Create efficient data models and SQL queries to support front-end reporting and visualization tools.
Educate stakeholders on best practices and industry standards in alignment with the team's strategy.
Act as a bridge between business teams and IT to identify any infrastructure gaps based on business requirements.
Create and update process documentation and playbooks to support solution maintenance.
Support the testing of enterprise system changes and implementations.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience building front-end reporting or visualization solutions and
4+ years of experience working with SQL and database concepts.
6+ years of PowerBI experience
Expertise using MS Excel, including Power Query, INDEX/MATCH, and VLOOKUP.
Experience with programming languages such as JAVA, Python, R, and VBA.
Experience with SAP HANA Studio and SAP Business Objects tools is highly preferred
Experience working on projects related to Merchandising, Planning, Inventory, and Supply Chain operations is preferred
Experience in the eCommerce, Retail, or B2C industry is valuable.
