Your missions

Responsible for servicing the needs of assigned clients within a book of business to meet or exceed client satisfaction.

  • Serve as the relationship lead on the account, incorporating other internal staff where and when needed to the relationship; build and foster relationships with influencers and decision makers at the client to ensure client satisfaction as measured in the annual client satisfaction survey; Maintains contact and relationships with each level of the business, including executive level decision makers, to help facilitate and generate meeting and continue developing relationships to create opportunities over the short and long term
  • Work together with other members of the leadership team, including Executive Sponsors, to develop and implement client strategies and company initiatives; Provide executive sponsor updates monthly
  • Maintain SalesForce.com to include all relevant customer contact information, opportunities, communication strategies and other elements of the customer record.
  • Maintain strategic plans for each client that includes renewal strategy, upsell opportunity and other innovative elements for optimal service delivery; present those opportunities to client for implementation, make recommendations to adequately and cost effectively meet clients pharmacy benefit needs
  • Responsible for client retention, client contract renewal process and ongoing profitability for portfolio of accounts; Negotiate and coordinate deliverables for existing clients in an RFP/RFI or market check situation.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of contractual obligations for portfolio of clients, including financials, performance guarantees, terms, and reporting/compliance; negotiate terms with the client that result in win-win
  • Has a comprehensive knowledge of our business, including products and services. Able to field questions from the client side, answer them and answer them correctly.
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively identifies new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Utilizes multiple communication methods across all areas of the organization based on audience interests and needs; organizes and adjusts message content so that important issues are brought to the surface quickly and efficiently
  • Adept at marshalling internal resources, when required. Overcomes internal hurdles, challenges and red tape and gets things done.
  • Contributes as required to the acquisition of new business; Support the sales process by attending best and final presentations as needed
  • Work collaboratively with Account Managers and Account Representatives to identify the cause or causes of a problem and proposes practical solutions to address them; Collaborate with Account Managers to develop agenda and content for client meetings; Work with Sr. Account Managers to ensure meeting items are tracked for follow up.
  • Liaise with consultants and brokers to manage expectations for overall client service delivery
  • Manage and deliver in-person and telephonic quarterly and/or annual benefit plan performance reviews
  • Participate in company training programs, serving as required as attendee, presenter or reviewer
  • Provide background and strategic insight to internal project teams; Provide input and market intelligence to support development of products, services and competitive positioning.
  • Can link products, services or other offerings that result in improvements in client’s business and consumer’s lives; sees ways of adding value to the client in ways others don’t; ability to curate custom offerings tailored to the customer’s specific needs
