About the Role
We are looking for a Sr Python Developer to be part of a team that serves our clients developing tools to measure and increase the company's rate of innovation. . In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications and services. You will work closely with our product and design teams to ensure that our applications are user-friendly and meet the needs of our customers.
As a Sr Python Developer, you will have the opportunity to discover, solve and deliver unique projects, significantly shaping the tech stack, engineering practices, and company culture. We place a high value on a learner's mindset and the willingness to look at problems from a fresh perspective.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications and services using Python
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure that our applications meet customer needs
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python
- Strong experience with back-end web development and RESTful APIs
- Strong experience with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
