As an E-commerce Marketing Lead, you will be focused on designing, running, and optimizing email marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for creating email content, working directly with both internal and external design resources to build HTML emails, configuring marketing campaigns in our customer marketing platform, and running & analyzing campaign results. You will test different campaign structures, content strategies, promotional incentives, and copy to drive optimal ROI for veterinary clinics who are looking to promote their online home delivery storefronts to pet parents.

To be successful, you will need strong analytical skills and a passion for designing creative email campaigns. You will be working cross-functionally to develop strategies, and derive crucial insights from campaign performance.

What you’ll do

  • Develop digital marketing calendar, assets, and email campaigns for pet parents

  • Develop an execute on cohorting and targeting strategies across a variety of CRM lifecycle campaigns

  • Coordinate with team members to execute campaign launches

  • Perform A/B and multivariate experiments

  • Liaise with the Data to develop processes to understand partner needs, consolidate improvement/requests, analyze results, optimize strategy where needed, and deliver strategic recommendations.

  • Utilize an email marketing platform (such as Customer.io) to implement email campaign strategies

  • Work with product to enhance capabilities and optimize offering

  • Track partner funding and work in tandem with your counterparts to upsell where needed

You should have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • A minimum of 1+ years experience in marketing

  • Experience working on content creation, copy management, and lifecycle marketing campaigns

  • An ability to think creatively and strategically

  • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude; excitement for A/B testing and continuous channel / campaign improvement

  • Experience building attribution models and managing performance marketing campaign roadmaps, applying a data-driven approach to problem solving

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multitask and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis.

  • Proven experience in working directly with senior leadership teams with excellent attention to detail, creativity, motivation and communication skills.
