Job role

The Learning Designer works with a multi-disciplinary team of Learning Designers, Developers, Digital Designers and Project Managers to write interactive content that meets client requirements, exceeds expectations and is delivered to schedule and budget.

You will be involved in a variety of projects and will undertake tasks including copywriting and editing, authoring content using GPLX’s proprietary tools as well as off-the-shelf authoring tools, revising content and meeting with clients. **

Main duties**

Skills And Knowledge

Holding the creative vision for the overall digital learning or blended project, in collaboration with a learning consultant

Leading interviews with client project stakeholders in German

Reviewing and assessing the suitability and quality of existing training materials in German

Facilitating strategic design workshops in collaboration with a learning consultant

Researching content and working with subject experts and learning designers to transform that content into effective and engaging learning.

Linking learning needs analysis results to learning objectives when implementing the design

Working with an art director to define visual and multimedia approaches.

Pitching design concepts to client stakeholders at every level

Creating detailed design documentation, including storyboards

Outlining and developing interactive scenarios and case studies

Setting the standard for instructional writing to ensure that is creative, concise and persuasive.

Understanding how to get the best from a variety of in-house and off the shelf authoring tools, such as Storyline, Rise and Captivate, as well as learning management systems.

Effectively managing multiple priorities, projects and relationships **
