What You Will Do

Reporting to the Wound Closure Strategy Manager EMEA , the Territory Sales Representative will act as the primary sales contact between the company and our customers. Responsible for maintaining existing sales and generating additional sales of Quill® and other Wound Closure Corza brands.

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding territory quota and sales growth objectives.
  • Responsible for presenting and selling Corza Medical wound closure portfolio with emphasis on Quill barbed suture brand.
  • Responsible for working efficiently and in coordination with a Biosurgery Key Account Manager KAM when applicable .
  • Measured on successful evaluations, conversions, and revenue growth within hospital targets.
  • Primary hospital targets include orthopedic and plastic surgical departments.
  • Develop and implement tactical sales plans for expanding base business and new sales conversion opportunities.
  • Conducts competitive cross-referencing, in-servicing, and training support to surgeons and scrub nurses.
  • Develops and maintains professional business relationships with key surgeons, physicians and nurses.
  • Conducts prospecting and cold-calling initiatives to identify new sales conversion opportunities.
  • Provides reports to management on activities, forecasts, sales funnels, and projects accurately and on time.
  • Develops Corza Medical wound closure proposals and tender offers for future contracts.
  • Communicates surgeon feedback and additional corporate support that may be required.
  • Helps identify new KOL’s for Corza Medical wound closure brands.
  • Attends and works industry trade show exhibits and meetings as determined by Sales & Mktg Management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

What You Will Need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years, carrying full-line territory sales experience in medical products required; recent experience selling into Orthopedic & Plastic.
  • Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
    • 50-75% travel within territory (Madrid region).
    • Experience of working in a hospital and observing surgical procedures is essential.
    • Knowledge of tender procedures and preparation of tender offers.
    • Proficient with CRM platform (Salesforce.com).
    • Highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
    • Highly customer focused.
    • Excellent selling and presentation skills.
    • Proven track record of top sales performance, sales awards
    • Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
    • Must be able to analyze financial information.
    • Fluent in Spanish, able to communicate in English, both written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.
    • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint as well as networks and internet applications.
