Majesco is seeking a Vice President, Product Management to lead our Data Science, Analytics, and AI business.

T his is a Remote-First position that can be performed from most locations in the United States.

All About the Role :

This key leader will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, development, and implementation of Majesco’s data analytics and artificial intelligence Products. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both data analytics and AI, along with strong leadership and business acumen.

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive vision for data analytics and AI aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Define and develop the Product roadmap and gain buy-in from key stakeholders at all levels of the organization including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Executive Leadership for leveraging data and AI to achieve organizational goals.
  • Completely own the Data Science and Analytics product life cycle, from discovery to measuring impact.
  • Create products and set direction that matches with the overall strategic vision in the organization around EBITDA and growth.
  • Stay ahead of our competition by releasing new data & AI products at the bleeding edge of what is available.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and AI specialists.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data analytics and AI teams.
  • Effective management of performance, morale, budgets, and team skill sets.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure data compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy, including the identification of use cases, selection of technologies, and implementation plans.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI applications.
  • Drive the development of advanced analytical models to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Continue to develop and enhance our BI and reporting solutions and drive client data access and management.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data analytics and AI.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms that enhance the organization's capabilities in data analytics and AI.
  • Stay in lockstep with our partner, Microsoft, on how we can implement and enhance our products with bespoke AI, business intelligence, and OOB AI/ML models such as LLMs.
  • Define and track objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure the success and impact of data analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Maintain or exceed leadership-set targets for sales growth, EBITDA, and gross margin.
  • Drive your teams to create clear and concise user stories / use cases and requirements that articulate desired product functionality
  • Represent Majesco by soliciting feedback (virtually and on-site) on company products and services
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Analyzing potential 3rd party relationships for the products to expand functionality and usability
  • Determine product line pricing in conjunction with other groups
  • Provide Executive level reporting and analytics regarding financial planning and release progression, progress of projects and the achievement of strategic objectives

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in data analytics and AI, with a track record of successful strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performance teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets, sales targets and driving your team to meet those goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience being in front of clients and assisting sales in selling the products your teams build.
  • An in-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with relevant programming languages; prior hands-on programming experience a major plus.
  • Proven ability in gaining a deep understanding of the customer experience, in order to identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excitement and passion for leading an emerging technology in the Insurance space

All About You :

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or global equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in the technology field, including technology leadership roles of increasing scope and scale.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms.
  • Reputation as a product evangelist that builds awareness and understanding of data analytics importance and excellence.
  • Global accessibility as well as the ability to seamlessly work with remote teams.

What Majesco Offers:

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $190,000 - $240,000.

Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Majesco considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
