Cask is looking for an experienced Platform Architect to help our clients transform their businesses and solve complex problems. In this role, you will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate is a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
- Apply technical breadth and depth to develop successful Cask ServiceNow strategy and solutions to meet the needs of the business
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across all areas of the enterprise to help understand business needs, develop technical solutions, and provide recommendations
- Drive the successful delivery and adoption of platform enterprise solutions
- Serve as advisor to customers to solve their most difficult business processes using ServiceNow-based solutions
- Make recommendations on architectural integration design both within the platform and with other systems via integrations
- Preside over design configuration decisions to ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with the platform design strategy
- Engage with the customer’s Enterprise Architects to position ServiceNow as the standard digital transformation platform integrated with the customer’s core applications
- Lead onsite and virtual technical requirements gathering workshops
- Act as the key technical interface between the Cask development team and the customer
- Lead a team of internal technical resources to deliver on support, enhancement, and project deliverables
- Lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of the ServiceNow platform and integrations for multi-practice platform transformations
- Identify potential opportunities for improvement based on ServiceNow capabilities and instill a spirit of continuous improvement
- Research partner or vendor solutions to advise on optimal tools for integrations to meet client requirements
- Contribute to projects/programs that may address future concepts, products, and technologies
- Partnership with peer practices to define dependencies and prerequisites required for solution and platform success
- Communicate, enforce, and integrate development best practices and technology standards
- Actively reduce technical debt and drive platform standards
- Assist pre-sales team with scoping service engagements typically involving ServiceNow products and complex integrations with client applications/systems
- Provide mentorship to other technical team members on technical design standards and best practices
- Proactively maintain expert knowledge and understanding of the latest ServiceNow platform and product offerings
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Cask Technical processes, standards, and thought leadership
What you'll bring to the table:
- 5+ years of experience implementing and integrating ServiceNow
- 5+ years of consulting experience
- 7+ years of enterprise IT experience
- Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of solutions in client environments
- Deep technical knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform (experience in multiple practices like ITSM, HRSD, CSM, etc)
- Strong experience working with workflows in several key areas of the ServiceNow platform
- Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, AngularJS, Jelly, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, and situational awareness
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts
- Superior maturity, professionalism, and judgment; ability to excel with minimum supervision
- Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SOAP
- Advisory Level, Specialized skill set
- Recognized as subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor professional
Preferred Professional Qualifications/Education:
- 2+ active CIS Certifications
- Certified System Administrator
- Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Implementation Badge
- Certified Technical Architect preferred
- Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
Note: Base salary range is $140,000 to $180,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
