Job Description
Responsibilities:
Category Planning & Operations:
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seeking opportunities for process, data and CX improvements/innovations within the category. You remain updated on customer behaviors, emerging technologies, industry trends, and translating this knowledge to enhance processes, customer experience and ultimately your category's performance.
Stakeholder management: Collaborating with various internal stakeholders, such as Tech teams, Marketing, Operations and Assortment and Category Management to drive initiatives, ensure alignment with the category strategy
Forecast management: ensure accurate demand planning to ensure high product availability (in-stock)
Product Assortment and Optimization:
Deep technical knowledge of your category to explain technical advantages of certain product features, and improve the product and pricing mix
Manage the product life cycle, including assortment planning/curation, new product introductions, and end-of-life management to produce good-better-best ranges.
Analyze sales and customer return data, e.g. around fitment issues to identify opportunities for assortment and CX-optimization.
Customer experience: implement A-class IDQ in order to i) improve Customer experience; ii) increase brand building; iii) maximize upsell / cross-sell, iv) which will enhance SEO and discoverability.
Becoming a leader in assortment planning for your category
Monitor and react to changes in the competitive landscape to maintain a competitive advantage, e.g. identifying the main competitors in the market with the CCM and recommend pricing action based on pricing sharpness and profitability guardrails.
Business Performance and Analysis:
Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
Monitor category performance metrics, including sales, profitability, returns, and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular business reviews to surface improvements, action plans and results
Qualifications:
Automotive technical background, possibly a degree in Engineering
Deep understanding of and passion for Automotive industry;
3-5 years work in Automotive or automotive aftermarket technical role
Customer focus and excellent analytical thinking.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
3-5 years in the Automotive Aftermarket/spare parts/accessories
3+ years working in a Customer Support
Language skills: English (solid) and other languages are a plus
