Fullstack Engineer

A new, exciting collaboration with a company tackling global deforestation is kicking off with the search for a Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript).

This mission-driven company leverages satellite imagery to provide realtime insight into the impact a product and supply chain has on areas of forest across the globe. Their clients include some of the largest retailers in the world who’re conscious about minimising their impact on climate change.

What to expect:
You’ll join a mission-driven product and engineering team building a data-intensive platform with Typescript and serverless architecture (Google Cloud). Experience with NoSQL databases is a pre, but a migration to PostgreSQL is on the horizon, so experience with RDBS is a good thing, too.

The engineering teams are relatively small for the Netherlands’ 3rd largest Google Cloud client, with 2 dedicated Fullstack Engineers building (primarily) the Frontend and a team of data engineers.

The role is remote in the Netherlands, with a compulsory office day once a quarter but its a social team so there’s people in the office every day.

This is not a role for digital nomads.

Perks: Requirements:
Strong Typescript skills.
Experience with NoSQL/Firestore/Firebase is a strong pre.
Based in the Netherlands and do not require a visa.
