🟩 JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing&Sales Director will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing strategies to help the business grow and expand, leading and motivating the Sales and Marketing team to achieve the set growth-related objectives.
This role will also provide leadership and expertise in user experience, marketing technology, and sales strategy across all digital properties.
As for responsibilities, the Marketing & Sales Director job has three core components: first, to define the company’s growth plan; second, to coordinate and execute growth programs; and third, to optimize the revenue funnel.
🟩 RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the overall vision and go-to-market strategy;
- Build and launch integrated marketing campaigns that leverage intent data, social media, email marketing, direct mail, advertising and events;
- Actively seek new business opportunities using marketing campaigns, outreach, traffic, social media, and other methods (monthly, quarterly, yearly plan);
- Propose and monitor KPIs for each marketing and sales role;
- Propose and monitor quarterly and yearly marketing & sales budget;
- Prepare accurate and complete reports, documenting budget spent and revenue by source (direct sales, referral, marketing lead by channel);
- Develop, implement, and manage sales forecasting activities, targets, sectors, markets, and territories and set performance goals to achieve company objectives;
- Develop and maintain a consistent company image and ensure that the brand is well communicated across all channels;
- Nurture a strong position for our company as a thought leader in the Marketing Automation industry;
- Provide tools and materials to enable the sales team to function effectively;
- Research on market trends and competition to determine services pricing and market positioning;
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction for company services;
- Monitor the volume of sales in accordance with the variety of services that are on the market and ensure that we keep current by supply and demand, economic strategies, market trends, and relevant competition;
- Motivate Sales Team members to comply with all appropriate rules and regulations and meet daily, monthly, and annual sales goals;
- Identify positive Sales Team results and maintain these outcomes through motivation and incentive programs, and identify and resolve any negative outcomes through employee discipline, counsel, and protocol changes;
- Maintain a positive reputation and ethic within the Sales & Marketing Department by complying with all company policies and procedures;
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs;
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and clients;
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fill them;
- Manage month-end and close year-end processes;
- Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of its offering;
- Communicate with the senior leadership team on program execution, results, and impact.
🟩 SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, advertising, or related field is required;
- Over five years of experience in selling Marketing services to B2B companies;
- A proven track record in marketing and sales;
- Knowledge and application of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts;
- Strong motivation, leadership, and team management skills;
- Experience selling to Fortune 500;
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity, initiative, honesty, and leadership;
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.)
