Job description

BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Software Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Software Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and delivering software projects that meet our high standards of quality, while ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and quality assurance professionals, to manage software projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for setting project goals and objectives, creating project plans, allocating resources, and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will be vital in fostering a collaborative and productive project environment.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex software projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet project objectives and quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and management.
  • Ensure project documentation is created and maintained as required, including project charters, schedules, and status reports.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing software projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
