Job description

Teneo Linguistics Company (TLC) is looking for a Program Manager to join their team. As a small woman-owned language service provider, TLC operates globally and prides itself on its professional in-house team and commitment to values such as Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Partnership. The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a portfolio of projects within a program. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder management, budget management, risk mitigation, and ensuring the successful delivery of program objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Leadership:
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the program.
    • Develop and execute program plans, including goals, objectives, and milestones.
    • Manage schedules and teams to deliver products and services on time and on schedule.
  2. Project Oversight:
    • Manage a team of project managers and cross-functional teams.
    • Ensure individual projects within the program align with the program's overall objectives.
  3. Stakeholder Management:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
    • Communicate program progress, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders.
  4. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage program budgets and resource allocation.
    • Ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources across projects.
  5. Risk Mitigation:
    • Identify and proactively manage program risks.
    • Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and align with program goals.
    • Implement quality control processes and procedures.
  7. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on program status, progress, and performance.
    • Maintain comprehensive program documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in program management, including managing a portfolio of projects.
  • Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven track record of successful program delivery.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once, with a focus on results and attention to detail.
