Job description

What is Amplemarket all about?
Amplemarket's premise is that a lot of the playbooks used by B2B sales teams that worked 5 years ago don't cut it anymore.
In today's environment, sales teams need to have a tremendous amount of information about their prospects to decide when is the best moment and channel to reach out in the most relevant way. You can't do this with 5 different data/sales enablement point solutions that don't share the same data schema and barely communicate with each other. Amplemarket is the all-in-one compound solution that enables this.
Our AI-powered sales platform helps B2B companies generate more opportunities thanks to our advanced lead generation engine, hyper-personalized sequencing, omnichannel outreach, and AI-powered smart actions. We are backed by Y Combinator, and we are powering the sales teams at some of the fastest-growing companies in the world like Deel, Moveworks, H1 and Vanta.

As a member of the Amplemarket engineering team, you will have an opportunity to work on a variety of complex and challenging projects. Our product requires us to solve a myriad of difficult engineering problems that are diverse in nature. We are deeply aware of the importance of our tool to our customers, and we look for people who share that vision. We believe in the importance of collaboration and encourage our engineers to work across teams. We also provide ample opportunities for professional development, including attending conferences and participating in training programs.

The new Test Automation Engineer will be part of the Cloud team and will be responsible for overall tools used by Product Engineering teams - identifying gaps, maintaining, and creating them. The solutions provided by this team enable the integration process to be scalable and effective with high quality.

You will:

  • Automate testing wherever possible using a variety of testing tools and frameworks, across the levels of the test pyramid
  • Train and coach other engineers on best practices in testing and test automation
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in manual processes using automation
  • Collaborate with team to define overall testing strategy
  • Develop, maintain and improve CI/CD principles, tools/platform iteratively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design for testability
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure all features are well-defined, tested thoroughly, and launched successfully
  • Review and report on health of test suite, coverage, and defects
  • Evangelize and drive adoption of software development best practices in code health, quality, test stability and maintainability
